Following on from 2015’s ‘A Journey into Deep Jazz’ and its 2017 sequel, London record store owner, digger and collector Jean-Claude has joined forces with fellow record dealer Victor Kiswell to present a new compilation ‘World Jazz Grooves’. Much as the title suggests, the nine track, three disc set compiles rare and obscure jazz titles from Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Artists featured include ‘Le Steel-Band De La Trinidad’ and ‘The Jazz Committee for Latin American Affairs’, two groups whose very descriptive names alone should give you a flavour for the musical content.
