Swifty Funky Typo-Grafix Q&A w/ Sadar Bahar & Guy Dermosessian at The BBE Store

For our next in-store on April 8th we welcome Ian Swift ‘Swifty’ for a Q&A and signing of his new book ‘Funky Typo-Grafix’ tracing the history of his work as a graphic designer.

The 374-page book reveals aspects of Swift’s design process, showing the evolution of different typefaces and logos he has created, the layouts and mock-ups for various album artworks and magazine spread designs.

“Even if you’ve never heard of Swifty you can bet your life you’ve seen or even owned a piece of his artwork. For two decades this man has cast an innovative and distinctive visual shadow over contemporary urban culture as we know it.”
