Tekilla - Lendas

Lendas ft. Papillon is the second single from Portuguese rapper Tekilla’s forthcoming album ‘Olhos de Vidro’, released on BBE Music sister label Batakari.

Described by Tekilla as “an ego trip between two generations, which intersect and innovate”, Lendas features a guest appearance from young hotshot Papillon, a prominent voice in a new generation of rappers in Portugal, hungry and fearless.

“I admire his humility, way of being, the commitment you can feel in this track, proving that he will greatly honour the next generation of good rappers who still support and value this culture” say Tekilla.

Fred Ferreira (Orelha Negra, Buraka Som Sistema) produced the track in a rough, dirty, banger street style, bridging the gap between old and new school, inviting the ensuing, exchange of words, punchlines, styles and flows.

Tekilla’s album ‘Olhos de Vidro’ is due for release on Batakari Music, June 26th 2021.
