Ramrock Records and BBE Music join forces for a very special in-store session featuring Ramrock founder Jo Wallace, Ashley Beedle, Sumsuch and Future Unit .

Founded in July 2014 by Jo Wallace, Ramrock works closely with DJ/producer Ashley Beedle, musical supremo Darren Morris, Greg Blackman, the mighty MC D’Oxman, Ghetto Priest, Duncan Mackay, Taz, Jebloy Nichols, LSK, On-U Sounds, Loop Records NZ, Electric Wire Hustle NZ, DJ/producer, Mr Bird, Shea Face & SoSoon, Future Unit, James Rod, Robert Burridge, Daniel March, Mark Professor, producer Tom Glide, The Dissent, DB Cohen….

Needing little introduction from us, Ashley Beedle first began DJing in the late 1980s during the heyday of acid house. After hearing Norman Jay on KISS FM, he became more interested in deep disco. In the early 1990s, he teamed up with Rob Mello and John Howard to form the Black Science Orchestra, who released several club hits in the 1990s (such as their remix of The Trammps’s “Where Were You?”, “Strong”, and “New Jersey Deep”). Beedle and the Black Science Orchestra were among the first British acid house artists to achieve notice in the house music community in the United States.

With album ‘With You Now‘ released last month on BBE Music, Sumsuch writes for Chicago’s 5 Magazine and runs his own label Colour and Pitch. A musician and producer for almost two decades, Sumsuch’s brand of deep-thinking electronic music has found favour with discerning DJs the world over, among them John Morales, Osunlade, Justin Martin & Jody Wisternoff, as well as being licensed to compilations on Sony, HiNote and Hed Kandi. An accomplished DJ, Will has played at many of the World’s finest bars, clubs and beaches, as well as hosting a monthly show on leading electronic station Proton Radio (syndicated to a host of other stations across the globe).

BBE Music’s in-stores are always free, child-friendly, all age friendly, dog-friendly! Food & drink available from The Institute of Light and Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen.
