Visioneers join BBE in celebrating their 15th year with this Special Edition 45.
At a time when most labels were pressing extended play 12″ vinyl Marc Mac(4hero) took a chance on releasing limited edition 7″ 45’s under the guise of “Visioneers”. From the get go these 45’s became a big deal among the Funk, Eclectic & Hip Hop DJ’s including Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Dope, DJ Spinna, Gilles Peterson, Nick Weston, Benji B and J Rocc. “The World Is Yours”; a remake of the classic Pete Rock beat for Nas was originally released in 2002 and “It’s Simple” was a Visioneers version of one of Marc’s own beats from the album “How About A Game Of Chess?”. This limited Edition pressing coincides with BBE’s 15th anniversary and the run up to a brand new Visioneers album in spring 2012.
